UC San Diego Graduate Division Rebrand
Formerly known as the Office of Graduate Studies, the Graduate Division lost itself among the many units of a large academic university. Rebranding to the Graduate Division helped establish a name, a purpose, and an identity. Having such an extensive presence on and off the university, the new brand had to reach a wide variety of audiences and avenues. Websites, videos, posters, flyers, and folders needed to be updated according to the strategic plan and brand execution.
Working within the constraints of the UC San Diego campus web parameters, a new look was created to go along with the updated brand. Images, graphics and text were created to evoke the fresh, new look of the Graduate Division.
Sub Brand for Event Series
Hosting a variety of programs and events for current graduate students at UC San Diego, sub brands were created to go along with the new Graduate Division. Both digital and print materials were created for the various uses and needs according to each.
Sub Brand for Continuous Program
Partnering with other offices on campus, the Graduate Division offers programs for both prospective and current students. Materials needed to reflect both the home division, as well as the multiple partners that contributed to it.
Standing out Among the Crowd
Highly ranked schools like UC San Diego attract stellar students. At large, national conferences, it’s vital to make an impact and stand out amongst other schools in attendance.
Welcoming Prospective Students
While standing out is key to being noticed, making students feel welcome is vital to developing a connection. Entire booth layouts, supplies, videos, and materials were developed to showcase the university and the dreams that students can achieve there.
